Lifts are ideal for larger motability cars or when your caregiver has trouble pushing you up the ramp. Most lifts are fitted at the back of a wheelchair-accessible car. If you find lifts expensive, you can consider using an electric winch that is attached to the wheelchair and pulls it into your motability car.
