Lease contracts are specifically designed with restrictive terms such as the modification clause and termination penalties. Early termination of contract is unacceptable and when it occurs, you have to pay a penalty. Also, you are not allowed to modify or customize the car. At the end of the lease, the car must be returned in the same configuration and condition as you received it. But, if you do perform any modifications, you will have to cover all the expenses incurred to return the car to its original state. Lease contracts are also not flexible to change in circumstances and changes often make them less attractive.
